Would a 5’6 girl look to small on a 17.2hh warmblood?
I am looking for a new horse and I really like this one horse and he is 17.2hh warmblood and i love big warmbloods but do you think I would look weird? I ride a 15.1hh horse and I think I look big on him is 5’6 to big for 15.1hh to?

Nope, you would probably be fine. I mean, it depends how chunky you are too – if you’re really petite and light weight, then you might want to go for something a bit smaller, just because a bigger horse will be stronger and need more holding back. Im 5 ft 7 and an average build, weight 130lbs, I ride a 16.2 and look about right but maybe a little big. So yeah you would be fine. I have a friend who has a 17hh chunky dutch warmblood, she;s 5ft1, and yeah, she does look pretty small, but its fine. Don’t worry about how you look, rather how the horse feels. If he feels to big underneath you, thats when you reconsider. If he feels right, then go for it! And no, 5ft6 isn’t too big for 15.1, but I wouldn’t go smaller than 15hh.
